Today I had the opportunity to visit one of the infrastructure depots for Stockholm's streetcar and metro system.
Very interesting, with lots of custom made or converted rolling stock. Oldest built in 1904.
Used a lot. Only from this depot there are around five trains leaving for different jobs every night. About 20 teams in total work on the streetcar and metro system infrastructure every night.
This doesn't mean every piece of rolling stock is used a lot. The snow clearing equipment was used a lot this winter, but last time before that was in 1987.
